Radiation

Radiation is the transfer of heat through electromagnetic waves. The heating elements in the furnace emit infrared radiation, which is absorbed by the materials inside. This is how the materials get heated even if they’re not in direct contact with the heating elements.

In an industrial furnace, all three of these heat transfer methods work together to heat the materials evenly.

Another important part of an industrial furnace is the control system. This is what allows you to set and maintain the temperature inside the furnace. The control system usually consists of a temperature sensor, a controller, and an actuator.

The temperature sensor measures the temperature inside the furnace. It sends this information to the controller, which compares it to the desired temperature. If the actual temperature is too low, the controller will send a signal to the actuator, which might be a valve that controls the flow of gas or electricity, to increase the heat. If the temperature is too high, the controller will reduce the heat.

This feedback loop ensures that the temperature inside the furnace stays within the desired range, which is crucial for getting consistent results.
