A New Thing

"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert" (Isaiah 43:19).

We wish to welcome you to Unchained Gospel Ministries. Our ministry is new and so is our website.  The Lord has called us to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the word of God, and to bring to the lost and hurting the shining light of hope that comes only from God's truth and promises.

Where ever you are in life, whatever you are going through, God knows all about it.  Psalm 56:8 declares: “You keep track of all my sorrows.You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book”. 

Only a God who loves you and I so much that He records each of our hurts, each of our tears, in His book would send His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so that one day He can personally wipe every tear from every eye (Revelation 21:4).

But God is not only the God of tomorrow, He is the God of today and He, alone, is the answer to every need you could ever have and every crises you could ever face.  In the pages of His word and through the teachings and resources of this ministry, we believe you will find God leading you ever closer to His Son, who declared in Luke 4:18: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,to preach deliverance to the captives,and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised."

Far too often, we hear a restrained gospel that lacks the spirit to inspire us, lacks the power to change us, and lacks the truth to teach us how to live our lives in such a way that we can receive blessings from God.  The Apostle Paul said that the true Word of God is not bound  (2 Timothy 2:9).  It is that that true word of the Lord God Almighty that we aspire, by His grace, to deliver always.

It is our prayer that God will use this ministry to help draw the lost to Himself, and to help His people walk in the fullness of His love, grace and power, which are our inheritance forever.  

In His Name, we stand ready to serve you as His grace provides.

The Battlefield or the Beach: Where Are You?

As a child of God, you are not called to peace, but to war. It's time many of us decide where we stand in the battle—are we on the battlefield where we are called to be, or will we be found AWL on the beach?

What would you think of a Marine who attended boot camp only for an hour each Sunday and spent the rest of his time either relaxing on a warm sunny beach or in pursuit of one? Imagine further that it is wartime and the enemy is stealing, killing and destroying while the Marine is resting comfortably in a lounge chair on the beach—his rifle propped against his chair, his helmet hung over its barrel.

If you are a Christian, you ARE a soldier, drafted by God into the army of King Jesus Christ for the sole purpose of advancing His kingdom. You have been provided a uniform (the armor of God), you have been equipped with a weapon so powerful (the Word of God) that no enemy can stand against it, you have a defense system (your faith) that is guaranteed by its Maker to stop every single shot the enemy takes at you—if you only use it. And you have a mission.
